Yes - our hire prices are fully inclusive of comprehensive insurance - there are no hidden extras.

Can you deliver the car to me?
Yes - Newquay Airport is free delivery for any hire and collection is free anywhere in Cornwall on hires exceeding 2 days. The only costs that may be incurred would be parking charges at the point of delivery these will be at cost.

What are the age limits for drivers?
All the rates quoted are for drivers who are over 21 and under 70 years of age and over 25 for vehicles over 1600cc. Drivers under 21 or over 70 will require extra insurance please phone for a quote.

What driving license do I need?
You should have held a full drivers license for at least 1 year. We may not be able to hire a vehicle to you if your license carries certain endorsements - please ask the hire office if you are in any doubt.

Can I drive a rental vehicle on a non-UK license?
All the rates quoted are for holders of a UK driving license. Foreign licence holders can be hired to, please phone for a quote.

What deposit do you require?
Normally a deposit of £100 is required for standard cars, or £250 for 7/8 seaters.

Will I get my deposit back?
Your deposit will be refunded to you in full when you return the vehicle. If any damage has occured while the vehicle has been in your care, the cost of the repairs will be deducted from your deposit, and the remaining balance refunded to you. If you choose to pay by credit/charge card, we will not charge the deposit to your card unless the vehicle is returned damaged.

Do I need to send my payments in advance?
No - you only need to pay for your rental at the start of the hire.

How should I pay for my rental?
You may pay by cash, credit or debit card, by cheque supported by a current cheque guarantee card. There is no charge for deposits paid by Credit / Debit card as we do not bank it, but a small charge will be made for any hires paid by Credit / Debit card. Please ask our hire office if you have any questions.

Can I take the vehicle abroad?
No - our insurance does not cover travel outside the UK.

What happens if the vehicle breaks down?
In the unlikely event that your vehicle does break down you are covered by full AA breakdown insurance all the time you are in one of our vehicles.
